On June 27, we’re excited to launch our new fundraising event, the Fernie Ride & Roast Festival, a full day of bikes, food, music, family activities and festival fun during Fernie Singletrack 3. Join us at the Montane Barn in Fernie, BC!Festival Activities:
Bring your family, bring your friends and join the Fernie bike community for a FREE public festival celebrating riding in all its forms!
Kids’ Bike Rodeo: Free bike decorating, skills, games and a mini trail adventure for kids ages 2 – 14. Run by Kat Robinson of Ghostrider Adventure Camp.
Heritage Trail Interpretive Guided Bike Ride: a relaxed guided ride exploring Fernie’s Coal Creek heritage and trail connections.
E-Bike Rally: a fun non-competitive ride focused on route finding, battery strategy and community participation.
Pimp your Townie: Shine it up, dress it up, show it off and join the townie bike parade. Brought to you by Kieran and Giv’Er!
Lamb & Pork Roast-Off: Local flavor, festival food, enjoy a full meal at the barn! Hosted by our friends at the Montane Farm and Livingston Ranch!
Food trucks, barn games, bike demos, expo village, beer garden, DJ, rider finish line action, and live music with Wheel House after the Fernie Singletrack 3 awards (approx 5:30 – 9 pm!)

Looking ahead to summer, CCHS will focus on completing the Accessible Easy Beaver Trail, installing wayfinding and historical interpretive kiosks along with bridges & boardwalks, expanding the trailhead parking area, and advancing work on the Montane Blue Trail with the goal of making it maintenance-free.
